‘The Thread That Binds Us’ – Collaborative Exhibition about the River Mersey

I am very pleased to be a part of this collaborative exhibition – 21 artists from Stockport, Runcorn and Liverpool, who have all produced work on the river we all share in common – The River Mersey. The river, associated by most people with Liverpool, where it flows into the sea, actually starts in Stockport. So it is appropriate that this first exhibition of our work, responding to the river, and the theme ‘The Thread That Binds Us’ is in Stockport, at Stockport War Memorial Art Gallery.

Preview is this Friday, 19th May, 6-9pm, exhibition continues until Saturday 17th June, normal gallery opening hours.
