Works on Paper

A short blog post, just to let you know that I have created a new category of product in my shop – Works on Paper. This will showcase some of my many drawings and mixed media works on paper. I am doing this as several people have asked me if they can buy my drawings!

Three of the drawings, those of Lumsdale Falls, feature in my blog about walking, which is illustrated by my art, http://inspiringartwalkswithsarahmorley.blogspot.com . These drawings were on show with other art from Walks 2, 3 and 4 of my blog, recently at The Green Man Gallery, Buxton ( see http://www.thegreenmangallery.com ). They were framed for the exhibition. I have not advertised them for sale framed as they are framed with a mount and behind glass, and so it would be difficult to ship these safely. Frames are available  but at a higher price If anyone would like to buy a framed drawing by collecting it from me or if you live within 2 hours drive of Stockport hand delivery may be available.

‘Charcoal and Pastel Study – Near the Top of Lumsdale’ 29 x 39cm £100 unframed

One drawing, ‘Freedom for the Birds’ was done in 2016 as a preparatory study for an oil painting that has since  been sold and relocated abroad.  I love this drawing, but have decided it is time to let it go to a good home!  have this drawing available framed on the same conditions as above.

‘Song of the Sea III’ was again preparatory to a seascape painting which was painted in late 2016. The painting has not been posted on this website as for sale yet – it is coming soon. See if you can guess which one!
