Painting live at Castle Park Arts Centre

Yesterday was ‘live painting’ day at Castle Park Arts Centre, Frodsham WA6 6SE.

I set up in Gallery 1, where my exhibition is on show, and painted for three hours – on and off – as many people came in to chat about my work or to look at my Scotland sketch books. Lots of lovely comments – it seems people have been enjoying the exhibition very much.  Looking forward to seeing some of the people again soon as they are coming on my workshop on Knife Painting which is on at Castle Park Arts Centre on Saturday 23rd June.

The painting on the easel. of Formby Point Late Evening is now well on it’s way. It will be finished in a week or two. I still need to add some more layers of paint. More on this once finished.

My show at Castle Park Arts Centre continues until Sunday 24th June.
