Autumn Newsupdate

Hello. A short update on what has been happening in my personal art world.

In July I was very pleased to be exhibiting for the first time at The Mall Galleries in Pall Mall, London. I was part of the Pastel Society Exhibition. This group are London based but there is also an ‘open call’ nationally for other work to be included. So it was wonderful to have been selected and included! I went to the Preview and was delighted to find that my drawing had been hung on a wall all of it’s own!

I am back to running classes on a weekly basis. At the moment these are Thursday morning, from 10.30 until 12.30 pm. I have a little space left, so if you are interested please look at my Classes and Teaching page on the website for more information and make contact with me.

On Saturday and Sunday, 6th and 7th November I will be in my studio for an Open Studio weekend. Anyone is very welcome to come in for a chat and see what a working artist’s studio really looks like. This is a very different experience to going to a gallery to see my work. You get to experience a totally different vibe and to look at a much larger collection of work. My charcoal drawings will be on display as will much of my new work. I am presently working on a new series of seascapes and there is plenty of new paintings completed during lockdown.
