About Sarah

Sarah Morley is a second career, up and coming, Stockport based artist. She paints in oils and draws in a variety of media. Her work is on the edge of Northern Art, to the extent that it comes out of her South Manchester studio. But it is generally about the natural form - nature itself - as landscape and seascape - and occasionally people. Sarah is inspired by light, colour and texture. Observation is her starting point, but then the work becomes something else during the creative process. Sarah works out of her studio in Vernon Mill, Mersey Street, Stockport, where she also teaches painting. She also works en plein air.
